Ive got a hp printer with a photo tray for 5 x 7 inch photo-paper, how do i get my computer to print on it?

It doesn't tell me in the manufactures guide, or the part that I have anyway. Its a C5280 hp printer.. its fine to print on a4 paper but i don't know how to get regular sized photos to print out. Could be because the drivers need to be updated. I would delete any software associated with the printer and go to HP's website and download the latest drivers. Just click on the drivers and downloads tab and enter your printer model - choose your operating system - download the latest drivers to your computer. Double click the file your downloaded to start the set up.

I would go to the HP site and ask for a CD they will mail it to you. My guy says that the drivers should be at the HP site.. look under drivers.. install directly from the site without a disc.

After i downloaded HP printer drivers, my startup time got lot longer?

It didn't really get slower. But the little icons on the bottom right of the screen load slower now. Like the internet says its not connected but it is. It takes like 1 minute longer now for it to load Avast Antivirus. I disabled HP at startup but it still does it. HP loads a lot... A ton, in fact. You probably missed a lot of stuff to turn off for start up.

It depends on what model you have. I would think that PVC would be a challenge with an inkjet as ink can not dry on a none porous surface - which PVC is.





Try what the first poster suggested and see if your manual lists PVC down as a printable source for it. If not then I would not risk it as I suspect the ink will rub off as you queried.Can I use a HP Photosmart printer to print on PVC paper?

ask on n HP forum. They'll answer you the best. Else, just go and try! At most, the paper would get stuck in it, and u'll have to manually get it out
