Why does my hp printer keep pending the print?

i have a hp deskjet f4135 all in one printer. Every time i try to print it keep going to pending. After it does that i cant get it to print at all. Can some one tell me how to fix this problem step by step pleaseWhy does my hp printer keep pending the print?

Sorry you are having trouble. HP actually just updated their software to prevent connection issues like this.

That should fix the issue. If it doesn't, try unplugging and plugging back in the USB cable to the printer and restarting the computer. I would start with the software update though. That should prevent this from happening in the future.
