How do I keep my print spooler on? I have HP 6540 printer and use WindowsXP Home edition.?

I have to restart it every day by going thru my control panel.How do I keep my print spooler on? I have HP 6540 printer and use WindowsXP Home edition.?
do the following:





start


run


type in: msconfig


click ok


click on the services tab


scroll down the list and look for: print spooler


tick the box next to the text


click apply


click ok


restart





also you can type in


start


run


services.msc

From Start select Run. Type ';services.msc'; (not the quotes) and hit enter. Find your spooler in the list and right click stopped if it is stopped, and set to start. Also you will want to right click and go into properties and set the startup to automatic.
