My AC Power Adapter of my HP Printer is damaged. I am unable to use the printer. ?

My HP adapter (90950-4301) accidentally went under water. It is not delivering DC 24Volts to the printer hpdeskjet 656C and I am unavle to use the printer. I am told that the printer and the adapter is obsolete and is not available. Any suggestions for getting original or equivalent adapter to go with the HP printer? My AC Power Adapter of my HP Printer is damaged. I am unable to use the printer. ?

Well, it'd be too hard to repair the current power supply, but you could look for one with equivalent voltage and same or higher amperage, then just splice the proprietary HP power connector onto the new unit. Seriously, it will work.

you should find a seller on these pages.
Try E-Bay
Radio Shack has universal AC adaptors that can be connected to provide different output DC voltages. You can probably check their online catalog or just call your local store. I use them all of the time when I can't get a replacement or don't want to wait. Also, the units come with several plug types to fit just about any device. Take the old adapter with you. Hope I have helped.
