How do i get vista to accpet my 3 yr old HP printer?

When i try to load the disk i get a message saying its not compatable with my computer. My last comp was XP and the printer installed and that. Do i need to buy a new printer? or is there a way around this? How do i get vista to accpet my 3 yr old HP printer?
You need to obtain a new printer driver for Vista, or it may already be supported in Vista. Check HP's website first to see if your printer has a new driver version for Windows Vista. If it is supported, you do not need to buy a new printer.

Go to the website of HP then click ';Software %26amp; Driver Downloads'; Here is the direct link for that. http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/supp鈥?/a>

Under ';Support for your products:'; type the model of your printer then click on the arrow beside it.

Most likely, you will be able to find a driver for Vista or instructions on how to install your printer in Vista. How do i get vista to accpet my 3 yr old HP printer?
vista sucks unfortunatly as nothing is compatible with vista, just put xp its way better, or unless a driver has come out yur out of luck try using yur printer to look for drivers like (i.e. ';lexmark 210 printer vista drivers';)
