I had the exact same problem.
Go to www.hp.com , in the search bar up the top type in the model of your printer. It should present a list of updates for it, choose the vista update.
If you're having trouble send an enquiry to HP, they have excellent customer service and are always prompt to reply.Where do I get an update for my HP printer to become compatible with Windows Vista?
Well HP should actually have a driver update 4U on their website....Otherwise,,,could be that HP isn't gonna make a Vista driver 4 that printer....
