If you are printing for a website, it will show the address that it's printing from. If you can, try and copy and paste the page. How to stop hp printer from always printing that useless 1st page waste of paper?
Before you print anything from the web, click ';File'; on your toolbar, the click ';Print Preview.'; This screen will show you what is going to print, how many pages, etc. Decide which pages you want to be printed. For example, if page 1 is a 'waste page,' then you would want to start printing from page 2. Most HP printers have a setting for that in the print dialog. So when you click print, tell your printer to print pages 2, 3, 4, or 2-4, etc.

Alternatively, you could try the ';Edit With Microsoft Office Word'; option, also under ';File'; on your toolbar. I find this too time-consuming, plus you have to know what you are doing.

Lastly, you could open a blank Microsoft Word document, then under ';Edit'; on the Explorer toolbar choose ';Select All,'; and then ';Copy.'; Past this into the Word document, and delete the stuff you don't want printed. Then print from this document.

Using your print functions and the ';Print Review'; is easiest. Using MS Word plus copy/paste is workable. Using the Edit function is the most complex, at least for me.
If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

Hi,

This looks like a driver problem.

You may try downloading the latest driver from the following Website, install and check whether the test page is printed everytime:

http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pag鈥?/a>

Also, try to power drain the printer:

1. Switch off the power source to the printer.

2. Hold the power-on button in the printer for 20 seconds.

3. Switch on the power source to the printer.

Check whether the issue is reproduced.

Thanks,

Adam.
go to print preview before you print and you should be able to select exactly what u do and dont want printed
i thought it was the web ,not the printer !
when u get to the printer page when u hit print on the file menu select the strat from and type page 2 or whatever u want
There is a setting in the printer properties for a seperator page....you need to turn this off. I cant remember exactly where it is, but somewhere in the Printer settings. Happend to me also...........Verry annoying.
