How do you get pictures onto a Computer from a HP Printer?

I have a HP 1300 series printer


I know how to set up the memory card into the printer from my camera (Olympus)


But, how do I import the pictures from the printer through the memory card to the computer?How do you get pictures onto a Computer from a HP Printer?
Your camera should have an USB cord for the computer to do pic transfers. I don't believe HP has the functionality of the built in card reader to be accessible through the computer. You could purchase an USB card reader for about 20 USD. They are like 15 in 1 readers.
