We used to have static IP addresses at the school I work for, but over the summer, outside work was done, and now only dynamic IPs work. The problem is our old network printers wont work. When the printers are plugged in, we lose internet connection. Is there anyway to set the printers to a dynamic IP setting? How to set up an HP printer in a dynamic IP enviorment?
go to network places and try to see what the computer name where the printer is connected and browse it(the printer) from there. and connect using the computer name. not the host's up address.
