is the problem from the new printer or from my computer

USB problems then you'll have to do this...





1. Uninstall the drivers for this printer and software


2. Unplug the Printer from the USB connector to PC


3. Turn off the Printer


4. Click on Start


5. Click on Control Panel


6. Click on System


7. Click on Hardware


8. Click on Device Manager


9. Scroll down to Universal Serial Bus Controller


0. Expand the tree for the USB





A) Now for each one you have listed right click on one


B) Click on Uninstall


C) Repeat A-B for each one you have listed


D) Reboot the PC





When you get back into Vista or XP the system will re-install USB drivers for you.





Now install the drivers for the printer and software again. Do not connect the USB from the Printer to the PC just yet. Wait for the software to tell you to do so..





Note: Use the CD that came with the printer or go and use one of those links posted by the others here to get your newer drivers.
