I acutally have a HP printer also. The best thing to do is see if there is a jam in it. If not then make sure the paper is put in correctly. You have to have the edges as even as possible. Kind of tap it on the table and slide it in. I think all printers have the little slide thing that puts your paper in the right position when you first slide it in. It will be inside where the paper mets the printer. Make sure you slide that all the way to the left and then insert the paper. Dont push the paper all the way down, just kind of place it where it is suppose to go. When that is done slide the paper corrector (I like to call it) all the way to the right until it hits the paper. That hold the paper where it needs to be to have an accurate print. If that doesn't work, try just inserting one piece of paper and look at what is going wrong. Is the paper catching wrong? Is it not going down all the way? Did you push ok on your computer to let it know you tried it again? It is simple stuff I know lol but it may help :) Good luck
I also wanted to add that my printer has a scanner and when I first bought it I had to take it back because it didn't work. So if you think there is something messed up, chances are there is and its not just you putting the paper in wrong. What can I do for my hp printer it tell me its out of paper?
Turn it off %26amp; on again.
Also, if there is a button flashing orange, or just flashing, press it.
Good luck.
just put at least 100 pieces of paper so that it will not jam when you use again your hp printer.
call hp. 1-800-474-6836
u would get free paper cleaning kit. use it and u wont get the error again
This may sound weird but: tip the printer on its top and see if it is still saying out of paper. If it doesn't then your 'out of paper' sensor is broken. If it still says that your paper is out, then you might have something blocking the sensor from moving around. See if you can find where that little plastic piece swings and see if it is freely moving.
look for trobleshooting info in the owners manual. also lok for it on the manufacturer's support site
hp.com
If there is a button on it for when it is out of paper, push that. Otherwise I really have no idea, that's just how mine is. Mine blinks when it's out of paper until you put in paper and then push the button.
Press the paper button once you have put new paper in. It should be located near the on off button.
